If you're looking for an overnight stop on the C2C route, or a base so that you can explore the beautiful Lake District, then Stafford House Lodges is the perfect place to be.

Originally the "Fruit Store" for Greystoke Castle.  It has been lovingly renovated into two self-catering Lodges, and is sited in the large walled garden of an enchanting Grade 11 listed “Folly” known as "Stafford House" which itself is set in the magnificent grounds of Greystoke Castle.  Finished to a high standard, the Lodges are in perfect keeping with their surroundings.

Only 10 minutes from the M6 Motorway, we are perfectly situated for you to enjoy the stunning countryside.  It is ideal for walkers, cyclists and motorcyclists alike, or indeed anyone who would just like to relax, enjoy the peace and tranquillity, and let themselves totally unwind

There are two lodges available at Stafford House, Blencathra Lodge and Pennine Lodge.  

Included in the price is Tea, Coffee, Sugar, Milk, Orange Juice, Bread, Cereals, Butter and Jams.  Also all your bed linen and towels with shower gel/shampoo.  

The Price from 1st January 2023 to 31st December 2023

is £50.00 per person per night.

• Blencathra Lodge - This self contained Lodge can sleep up to 2 people. 

• It has a fully fitted kitchen including everything you need from glasses, mugs, plates, bowls, a full drawer of cuttlery, a teapot and a caffitiere, a hob, an oven, a microwave, a full size fridge with an ice box, a kettle and a toaster.

• The bedroom has 2 single beds, bedside cabinets, a lamp and Freeview TV.  It is complete with a wet room, shower, basin and toilet. 

• Blencathra Lodge is also wheelchair accessable, so there are no steps and it has wider doors.  Handrails are also fitted in the wet room to aid stability.

• Pennine Lodge - This self contained Lodge can sleep up to 6 people.

• It is divided by a communial fully fitted kitchen (so more than one group can use this Lodge at any one time) It can also be booked out for sole use too. 

• In the kitchen you will find everything you need from glasses, mugs, plates, bowls, a full drawer of cuttlery, a teapot and a caffitiere.  There is a hob, an oven, a microwave, a full size fridge with an ice box, a kettle and a toaster.

• To the left of the kitchen is a Twin Room containing 2 single beds, bedside cabinet with a lamp, also freeview TV.  It is complete with it's own wet room including a shower, basin and toilet.  

• To the right of the kitchen is another wet room with a shower, basin and toilet.

• To the right of this wet room is the 2nd Bedroom/Lounge containing 1 set of Bunk Beds and 2 Single Beds, Bedside Cabinets with lamps, a small Sofa, a coffee table and Freeview TV.
