At the close of Autumn, we try and put the garden to bed, depending on the weather it's not always possible straight away. Duties include cutting down the Herbacious Perenials, removing the support canes from the Sweet Peas, Beans and Peas removing any weeds before a generous helping of homemade mulch is applied. This helps to put the goodness back into the ground as well as enriching it for the forthcoming year.

"Roadbase 2017" After hatching a plan to Motorcycle the length and breadth of the country raising money for "The Air Abulance" Dave Ascough and Daren Cox rested their weary bodies with us here at Stafford House on Sunday 17th September 2017.

This amazing grey Racehorse was trained in Greystoke by Nicky Richards, and won 17 of his 32 races. An annual presentation held at the Jocky Club Rooms in Newmarket on 7th December 2016, awarded him the prestigious title of RoR "Retraining of Racehorses" "Horse of The Year"
